This Weekend – April 3

The next time the Men of Steel get together will be Saturday April 9, beginning at 8:00am. We are inviting all men to come to a prayer breakfast in honor of Derrick Jaastad who is leaving us at the end of the month to begin a new work in DC.

The Message for Sunday: On April 3, Skip will continue in the series Signposts of Spirituality, bring a message called Practicing the Presence of God from Psalm 139:1-7. It is also Family First, and our pre-teen ministry will have a special presentation complete with singing and a video.

Bible Study for All Ages: Join us at 9:45 on Sunday to study God’s Word together. There are small groups for every age and life stage; adults, students, children and preschool. If you don’t know where to go, the place to start is the WelcomeCenter. From there we will escort you to the right room and introduce you to some new friends.

Children’s Church, Hands-on Bible: Children’s Church (for grades 1-4) meet in room 17 down the adult educational hall. Families start out in a multigenerational worship experience at 11:00, and then grades 1-4 will be dismissed after about 20-25 minutes to go Hands On Bible with Katie and her volunteers.

Nursery for children ages 0-3 is available at 8:30 and at 11:00 we have preschool extended session (birth through K).

Lunch ‘n Learn: Scott is leading the church through a brief seminar looking at how to fulfill the Great Commission through small groups (noon until 1:30 pm). RSVP by Thursday March 31, for the meal.

This Weekend – March 27

The next time the Men of Steel get together will be Saturday March 26, beginning at 7:30am.

The Message for Sunday: On March 27, Skip will lead the congregation in our annual day of prayer. This is a result from our strategy for a new decade where we will set aside one Sunday each year to seek God in an extraordinary way.

Bible Study for All Ages: Join us at 9:45 on Sunday to study God’s Word together. There are small groups for every age and life stage; adults, students, children and preschool. If you don’t know where to go, the place to start is the WelcomeCenter. From there we will escort you to the right room and introduce you to some new friends.

The Connections Class: This class is for all regular attendees and new members of King’s Grant, to learn about what church membership is all about. We will meet for a free lunch at noon, and then spend the class discussing who we are, who you are, what we believe, and have plenty of time to get to know people on the same life journey as you. Lenten Soup and Scripture: the soup and service will be at KGBC this week. Soup at 5:00 and devotional at 6:00.

The Message for Sunday: On March 20, Skip will continue the series called Signposts of Spirituality. The message for this weekend is called Discovering God’s Call for Our Lives, from Ephesians 1 Corinthians 7:17.

The next time the Men of Steel get together will be Saturday March 12, beginning at 7:30am.

The Message for Sunday: On March 13, Scott will continue the series called Signposts of Spirituality. The message for this weekend is called Becoming Holy, Becoming Ourselves, from Ephesians 1:3-6. We will look at the word, H-O-L-Y and discover how to live in this world as authentic Christians.

Harvest Hall Open House: The time before and after Sunday School, and a few minutes after noon; for those intending to participate in the new contemporary service. We need team members to volunteer for these teams: Welcome, Prayer, Logistics, and Promotion.
